Jesus said to them, “Woe to you, Chorazin! Woe to you, Bethsaida! For if the mighty deeds done in your midst had been done in Tyre and Sidon, they would long ago have repented, sitting in sackcloth and ashes. But it will be more tolerable for Tyre and Sidon at the judgment than for you. And as for you, Capernaum, ‘Will you be exalted to heaven? You will go down to the netherworld.’ Whoever listens to you listens to me. Whoever rejects you rejects me. And whoever rejects me rejects the one who sent me.”
We need to repent. With the number of abortions performed in the last 40+ years, euthanasia becoming “popular”, and so many killings and abuses, many committed in the name of God. We have a lot to be concerned about and sorry for in the eyes of the Lord. Our world must turn back to God. Who do you follow? The Lord or the world? If it is the world you are rejecting Jesus, are you ready to face the consequences?
Prayer: Heavenly Father, I rejected the world and its empty promises a long time ago. My heart is with you and my prayer is that all will repent and turn back to you. Amen.
Guide me, Lord, along the everlasting way.
