May the word of the Lord fill you with love and bring you peace.

Jesus said to his disciples: “Do not give what is holy to dogs, or throw your pearls before swine, lest they trample them underfoot, and turn and tear you to pieces.

“Do to others whatever you would have them do to you. This is the Law and the Prophets.

“Enter through the narrow gate; for the gate is wide and the road broad that leads to destruction, and those who enter through it are many. How narrow the gate and constricted the road that leads to life. And those who find it are few.”

It is a narrow road that leads to heaven. Few people find it because they always looking for something better. If you keep your eyes fixed on heaven and the things of the Lord, you will find heaven. Where is your gaze?

Prayer: Heavenly Father, may I keep my eyes on you and not look for something that the world tells me is better. There is nothing better than you and I give you praise and honor! Amen!

God upholds his city forever.
