Jesus said to his disciples: “Do not think that I have come to abolish the law or the prophets. I have come not to abolish but to fulfill. Amen, I say to you, until heaven and earth pass away, not the smallest letter or the smallest part of a letter will pass from the law, until all things have taken place. Therefore, whoever breaks one of the least of these commandments and teaches others to do so will be called least in the Kingdom of heaven. But whoever obeys and teaches these commandments will be called greatest in the Kingdom of heaven.”
So many people today are not teaching those commandments. They twist them and teach the opposite. How will they answer the Lord? How will they be able to stand before God and justify what they are doing? They are the least in this world, but are treated as stars and extolled by those who follow them. The greatest are those that stand firm and preach the true Word of God. Who do you stand with?
Prayer: Heavenly Father, your truth has brought me much joy and happiness. What you teach is pure love and forgiveness. I pray that the world will turn to you and come home. In Jesus’ holy name, Amen.
Holy is the Lord our God.
