God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him might not perish but might have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world might be saved through him. Whoever believes in him will not be condemned, but whoever does not believe has already been condemned, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God.
It is hard to fathom the immensity of the love our Lord has for us that He would send His Son to die for us. Outrageous Love, a love so great that He would do anything to bring us back to Him. He got our attention, conversions have happened over the centuries but we seem to be losing sight of that Outrageous Love. Where do you stand? Do you want eternal life or not?
Prayer: Heavenly Father, thank you for the gift of your Son. I pray Lord, that others will remember how great a gift we have been given and come home to you. In Jesus’ holy name, Amen!
Glory and praise forever!
