Jesus said to his disciples: “Beware that your hearts do not become drowsy from carousing and drunkenness and the anxieties of daily life, and that day catch you by surprise like a trap. For that day will assault everyone who lives on the face of the earth. Be vigilant at all times and pray that you have the strength to escape the tribulations that are imminent and to stand before the Son of Man.”
Our hearts have become drowsy. We no longer see evil for what it is, we allow the world to tell us what is right or wrong. We have allowed ourselves to be lulled into acceptance of all that goes against what Jesus has taught us. Are you ready to be awakened? The Son of Man is coming, are you ready?
Prayer: Heavenly Father, I allowed the world to blind me, but thanks to your love I have awakened to the truth. Thank you and I promise to do all I can to spread your word, to help awaken the world to the truth. In Jesus’ holy name, I give you honor, glory and praise, Amen!
Marana tha! Come, Lord Jesus!
