The LORD says: You, Bethlehem-Ephrathah, too small to be among the clans of Judah, From you shall come forth for me one who is to be ruler in Israel; Whose origin is from of old, from ancient times. (Therefore the Lord will give them up, until the time when she who is to give birth has borne, And the rest of his brethren shall return to the children of Israel.) He shall stand firm and shepherd his flock by the strength of the LORD, in the majestic name of the LORD, his God; And they shall remain, for now his greatness shall reach to the ends of the earth; he shall be peace.
Jesus’ birth foretold by the Prophets. Mary is the woman who gave birth to the “…shepherd of his flock by the strength of the LORD” She is woman who gave birth to the Son of God, she is the Mother of God. If you believe what the Bible says, you must believe in Mary as the chosen one of God, who gave birth to the shepherd that was foretold. Do you believe in her? Do you honor her as His mother and yours? If Jesus is your brother, Mary is your Mother.
Prayer: Heavenly Father, thank you for choosing the beautiful woman that Mary was to be the mother of your Son. She is a consoler, tender, loving and wants only what her children want. Thank you Mary for interceding with your Son for me, thank you for the comfort you bring to me when I am sad or lonely. You are a true Mother and in Jesus’ holy name I give praise and honor to Our Lord for you, Amen.
With delight I rejoice in the Lord.
