As Jesus drew near Jerusalem, he saw the city and wept over it, saying, “If this day you only knew what makes for peace–but now it is hidden from your eyes. For the days are coming upon you when your enemies will raise a palisade against you; they will encircle you and hem you in on all sides. They will smash you to the ground and your children within you, and they will not leave one stone upon another within you because you did not recognize the time of your visitation.”
We have lost sight of what makes for peace. There is not true peace except in Jesus and the world He offers us. Our freedoms are being eroded today and no one seems to notice. What do you do for Christ? Do you show your love of Him or your indifference? It is not an either or, it has to be one or the other. Will the enemy know you are a Christian?
Prayer: Heavenly Father, I try to live my life every day so that people will know I stand for you and in you. May I help others to do the same. In Jesus’ holy name I ask for your help and support to spread your holy word, Amen.
To the upright I will show the saving power of God.
