Jesus said, “What is the Kingdom of God like? To what can I compare it? It is like a mustard seed that a man took and planted in the garden. When it was fully grown, it became a large bush and the birds of the sky dwelt in its branches.”
Again he said, “To what shall I compare the Kingdom of God? It is like yeast that a woman took and mixed in with three measures of wheat flour until the whole batch of dough was leavened.”
The Kingdom of God is beyond all that we can compare it to here on earth. Until we enter the Kingdom we will not know what it is like. We will always try to find something that we can compare it to, because we want to find heaven on earth. Nothing here will ever come close, but if we find Jesus and take Him into our heart, we will be close. How close to heaven are you?
Prayer: Heavenly Father, may I always keep you in my heart so I may be as close to Heaven as possible here on earth. In Jesus’ holy name, Amen.
The Lord has done marvels for us.
