When Jesus came down from the mountain, great crowds followed him. And then a leper approached, did him homage, and said, “Lord, if you wish, you can make me clean.” He stretched out his hand, touched him, and said, “I will do it. Be made clean.” His leprosy was cleansed immediately. Then Jesus said to him, “See that you tell no one, but go show yourself to the priest, and offer the gift that Moses prescribed; that will be proof for them.”
When we ask, the Lord will heal us. We must ask in humility and trust and we need to accept whatever healing He gives us. We will be healed but not always in the way we want. We must be ready to accept whatever the Lord does for us. Are you willing to believe that the Lord knows you better than you do when it comes to your healing? He made you, He loves you and He wants you healed. Open your heart and mind to what He wants to do for you.
Prayer: Heavenly Father, so many times I prayed for healing and did not receive what I asked for. I have come to learn that you have healed me in ways I never dreamed possible. Thank you Lord for all the healing that you have brought into my life. In Jesus’ holy name I praise you and give you glory, Amen.
See how the Lord blesses those who fear him.
