Beloved, let us love one another, because love is of God; everyone who loves is begotten by God and knows God. Whoever is without love does not know God, for God is love. In this way the love of God was revealed to us: God sent his only-begotten Son into the world so that we might have life through him. In this is love: not that we have loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as expiation for our sins.
How do you love? With the heart of God? If you do, then you know God. He loves us with a love we do not understand. His Son died for our sins – for your sins. We must learn to love one another as God loves us, that is His desire for us. Can you love that much? Try it, you may find the peace and joy you are searching for.
Prayer: Heavenly Father, thank you for the gift of your Son and for the gift of love that you have given to me. My joy comes from you and you alone, and I praise your holy name. Amen.
Lord, every nation on earth will adore you.
