Beloved, you are faithful in all you do for the brothers and sisters, especially for strangers; they have testified to your love before the Church. Please help them in a way worthy of God to continue their journey. For they have set out for the sake of the Name and are accepting nothing from the pagans. Therefore, we ought to support such persons, so that we may be co-workers in the truth.
John is asking that we take care of our fellow Christians. We are to lead them to Christ, not astray. The world has nothing to offer us even though it appears attractive, it is dead. We need each other to help guide and lead us toward the life and light of Christ.
Prayer: Heavenly Father, may I always be willing to help others who are on the path to you, to guide them in your way and help them to seek your light. In Jesus’ holy name, Amen.
Blessed the man who fears the Lord, Alleluia.
