Jesus said to his disciples: “Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give it to you. Do not let your hearts be troubled or afraid. You heard me tell you, ‘I am going away and I will come back to you.’ If you loved me, you would rejoice that I am going to the Father; for the Father is greater than I. And now I have told you this before it happens, so that when it happens you may believe. I will no longer speak much with you, for the ruler of the world is coming. He has no power over me, but the world must know that I love the Father
and that I do just as the Father has commanded me
Jesus told us that satan would be taking over the world. We still don’t believe Him. Many people today do not believe that satan exists yet Jesus himself told us he was taking over the world. Do you believe that satan exists? Do you believe the word of Jesus? You should because both are very alive and very real. The difference is Jesus saves your life, satan destroys it. Jesus heals, satan hurts. Jesus forgives, satan reminds. Who do you want to follow? Who do you believe in? I believe in both, I know they are both real. But I want to follow Jesus to eternal life with the Father.
Prayer: Heavenly Father, Help me to ignore the lures and temptations of satan, as he is the father of lies. You have the path to eternal happiness and life and that is the path I always want to follow. Holy Spirit, be my guide, my counselor and my strength as I walk this rocky road. In Jesus name I pray, Amen
Your friends make known, O Lord, the glorious splendor of your kingdom, Alleluia!

Jesus said to his disciples: “Whoever has my commandments and observes them is the one who loves me. Whoever loves me will be loved by my Father, and I will love him and reveal myself to him.” Judas, not the Iscariot, said to him, “Master, then what happened that you will reveal yourself to us and not to the world?” Jesus answered and said to him, “Whoever loves me will keep my word, and my Father will love him, and we will come to him and make our dwelling with him. Whoever does not love me does not keep my words; yet the word you hear is not mine but that of the Father who sent me. “I have told you this while I am with you. The Advocate, the Holy Spirit whom the Father will send in my name–he will teach you everything and remind you of all that I told you.”
Have you allowed the Advocate, the Holy Spirit to teach you everything? Do you read the word of God to be reminded of all that He told the Apostles? If you have not opened yourself to the Holy Spirit, why not? The Advocate was sent by God to teach and to guide us. Do you believe that? Why would you doubt the words of Christ? Open your heart and your mind to the Advocate. You have nothing to lose and only eternal life to gain.
Prayer: Heavenly Father, thank you for sending the Advocate to help us, guide us and be with us. I depend on the Holy Spirit to teach me all that you have for me. May I always be open to your guidance, heed your call in heart and follow you always. In Jesus’ name I ask all this, Amen
Not to us, O Lord, but to your name give the glory, Alleluia!

When Judas had left them, Jesus said, “Now is the Son of Man glorified, and God is glorified in him. If God is glorified in him, God will also glorify him in himself, and God will glorify him at once. My children, I will be with you only a little while longer. I give you a new commandment: love one another. As I have loved you, so you also should love one another. This is how all will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.”
Will they know that you are a follower of Jesus by the way you love others? Who do you love? How will I be judged? Do I love enough?
Prayer: Heavenly Father, I love you and want everyone to know you and that I love you. Please show me where I do not love enough, or love the wrong way. Holy Spirit help me to love as Jesus loved. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen
I will praise your name for ever, my king and my God, Alleluia!

Jesus said to his disciples: “If you know me, then you will also know my Father. From now on you do know him and have seen him.” Philip said to Jesus, “Master, show us the Father, and that will be enough for us.” Jesus said to him, “Have I been with you for so long a time and you still do not know me, Philip? Whoever has seen me has seen the Father. How can you say, ‘Show us the Father’? Do you not believe that I am in the Father and the Father is in me? The words that I speak to you I do not speak on my own. The Father who dwells in me is doing his works. Believe me that I am in the Father and the Father is in me, or else, believe because of the works themselves. Amen, amen, I say to you, whoever believes in me will do the works that I do, and will do greater ones than these, because I am going to the Father. And whatever you ask in my name, I will do, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask anything of me in my name, I will do it.”
Do you see the Father in Jesus? Do you believe that you can do greater works than He did? Do you see those works being done? Why not? Jesus told us to ask anything in His name and He will do it. Do you ask? Why not? Out of fear? Jesus gave us a tremendous promise and all we have to do is believe what He says. Why do you think you cannot do what He empowered you to do? Put your faith in Him and His promises. He will not fail you and you WILL do greater things than He did.
Prayer: Heavenly Father, I want to continue to see great works being done, the healings, the conversions can be done today just as He did. I believe Lord, but sometimes I waiver. Holy Spirit, when I do, help me to lose my fear and trust in your words. In Jesus’ name I ask for the faith to believe.
All the ends of the earth have seen the saving power of God, Alleluia!

Jesus said to his disciples: “Do not let your hearts be troubled. You have faith in God; have faith also in me. In my Father’s house there are many dwelling places. If there were not, would I have told you that I am going to prepare a place for you? And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back again and take you to myself, so that where I am you also may be. Where I am going you know the way.” Thomas said to him, “Master, we do not know where you are going; how can we know the way?” Jesus said to him, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.”
As long as we have faith we will dwell in the house of the Lord forever. What a beautiful promise Jesus made to us. He will come back and take us to our Father’s house. Can you keep your faith today as the apostle’s did? Can you resist the lures of society that say a life of sin and self-indulgence is all you need? Will you stand up for a life in Christ? Are you willing to follow Christ’s way, even if we aren’t sure what it is? Risk the ridicule of society as the apostle’s did? If not, why not?
Prayer: Heavenly Father, I want to dwell in your house for all time. Help me to fight the temptations of the world and live only for you. Holy Spirit guide me on the path that Jesus sets for me, so I too may go to the dwelling place of the Father. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.
You are my Son; this day I have begotten you, Alleluia!

Jesus appeared to the Eleven and said to them: “Go into the whole world and proclaim the Gospel to every creature. Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved; whoever does not believe will be condemned. These signs will accompany those who believe: in my name they will drive out demons, they will speak new languages. They will pick up serpents with their hands, and if they drink any deadly thing, it will not harm them. They will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.”
Then the Lord Jesus, after he spoke to them, was taken up into heaven and took his seat at the right hand of God. But they went forth and preached everywhere, while the Lord worked with them and confirmed the word through accompanying signs. This command was meant for us also. We are to go and proclaim God’s word to the world. Who in your world have you shared the Word of God with? Who in your world believes? Do you see the signs that Jesus promised? Why not, they are there. All it takes is eyes to see with and ears to hear with. You can do what they did, if you only believe you can. With Jesus, ALL things are possible. Why is that so hard to believe?
Prayer: Heavenly Father, help me to speak your word to all who hear and to stand up for what is right. Give me the courage, faith and strength of the apostles to spread your word. I want to sing your praises forever! I ask all this in the name of Jesus, Amen
For ever I will sing the goodness of the Lord, Alleluia!

Jesus cried out and said, “Whoever believes in me believes not only in me but also in the one who sent me, and whoever sees me sees the one who sent me.I came into the world as light, so that everyone who believes in me might not remain in darkness. And if anyone hears my words and does not observe them,I do not condemn him, for I did not come to condemn the world but to save the world. Whoever rejects me and does not accept my words has something to judge him: the word that I spoke, it will condemn him on the last day, because I did not speak on my own, but the Father who sent me commanded me what to say and speak. And I know that his commandment is eternal life. So what I say, I say as the Father told me.”
Jesus tells us that if we don’t follow His teachings, we will be judged. Not by Him, but by the Father who sent Him. We will pay a penalty for ignoring the teachings of Jesus. We can say that Jesus will not send us to hell, but we will do it to ourselves on the last day, when the Father judges our actions. Do you want hell or eternal life? Only you can make that decision. What do you choose?
Prayer: Heavenly Father, I want to spend eternal life with you. I choose you and your way of life. Help me to learn your words and speak them to others. Help my unbelief when I am struggling. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen
O God, let all the nations praise you! Alleluia!
